I need a new camera

Im thinking of getting a canon digital rebel.... or some other fabulous canon camera. My other choice is Nikon. Ive liked the Nikon d40 but many people have been telling me to go after a nikon d200 or something better. Right now I have a fujifilm s700 and I want something a little better, something that I can use for pretty pro looking photos so I can start making some money from photography! lol. Any recommendations anyone?

@ hmm (your journal entry):

Don't worry to much about photoshoping. Try to make good photos, and even if they are not perfect, they are natural.

I always prefer a good - but maybe not perfect - photo over a too much polished one.
